CivilStorm accurately models every aspect of your stormwater system including rainfall, runoff, inlet capture and bypass, gravity and pressure piping, detention ponds, outlet structures, open channels, culverts, and more.
Engineers can analyze pressure and free-surface flow conditions for networks of channels and closed conduits; model complex pond outlets for a variety of tailwater conditions; and use weirs, orifices, culverts, risers, and inlet boxes in their design, all within a single product.
CivilStorm performs a full range of analysis necessary for verification of hydraulic capacity and demonstrating stormwater compliance in complex storm water handling systems. Its dynamic calculation engine handles capacity analysis, detention, looped systems and diversions.

With CivilStorm, StormCAD, SewerGEMS, and SewerCAD's new unified file format, the .stws file replaces the .csd, .stc, .swg, and .swc files. This common file format makes modeling teams workflows more efficient, since a model created in any one of these products can now be seamlessly opened and edited in another.

Low-impact development (LID) controls can now be analyzed in CivilStorm.
HEC-22 inlet capture efficiency calculations can be performed when using the SWMM solver in CivilStorm.
Support for v-shaped and parabolic gutters is now available in CivilStorm.
Node headloss calculations in accordance with HEC-22 3rd Edition are now available in CivilStorm.
The input and results fields are automatically filtered according to the solver used.
